Precipitation in different cities in Punjab has brought a welcome relief from the heat, where the weather becomes comfortable throughout the region.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, a weather system that brings rain is currently affecting most districts in Punjab, including Lahore, reported Express News.
The rain has caused the temperatures to fall, which improves the total weather conditions for the residents.
The rain is expected to continue until March 16, when Lahore experiences a minimum temperature of 16 ° C and a maximum of 27 ° C.
Other parts of central and upper Punjab probably also receive rainfall. The cooling effect from the rain has given some comfort to fasting residents under Ramadan.
Yesterday, it was reported that a rain -bearing weather system is set to enter Pakistan tonight, bringing chances of showers over Punjab from 14 to 16 March, the meteorological department has predicted.
Currently, dry weather prevails over most districts with changing cloud cover and rising temperatures. Lahores minimum temperature is expected to be 17 ° C, while the maximum can reach 29 ° C.
Previously, Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) had predicted rain from 9 to 16 March, but no significant rainfall has been recorded so far.
Met Office expects mostly dry conditions to persist today, although the cloud cover will offer short relief from the sun.
