The city recorded an extremely hot and humid day Monday, with temperatures affected 40 degrees Celsius. Due to high humidity, the residents experienced serious discomfort and suffocating weather conditions during the afternoon. Most of the day felt like a heat wave, while some suburban areas received light rainfall, leaving the rest of the city and waiting in vain for rainfall.
The day began with a minimum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius, and the moisture spiked significantly to 73 percent, which led to a swelling start. As the sun was flaming and the wind speeds fell, the intensity of heat increased steadily. In the afternoon, the city experienced heat -breaking conditions, accompanied by intense humidity and suffocation.
According to the meteorological department, the maximum temperature in the city reached 40 degrees Celsius with humidity levels of 58 percent. The combined rise in temperature and humidity made the weather feel even warmer than it actually was.
Throughout the burning day, the citizens were eagerly raining. Apart from light rainfall and light rain in a few suburban areas, most parts of the city remained dry. It is worth mentioning that the meteorological department had predicted light for moderate rain with thunder and gusty wind in the city on Monday.
