Rain, Thundershower Expected from June 13

Islamabad:

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted a magic form of dust storms and rain-thunder shows with occasional holes in upper and central parts of the country from 13 to 16 June.

The prevailing serious heatwave conditions are likely to fall during this period.

According to Met Office, humid currents were currently penetrating the upper parts of the country, while a western wave would also probably approach the region on June 13.

Under the influence of these weather systems, dust storms and rain-thundershowers are expected, accompanied by isolated hailstorms, in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Murree, Galliyat, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Mansehra, Battagtagram, Shangla, Kohistan and Abbottabad from 13th-16 years with the apartment.

Dust storm and thunder-rainfall are also expected in all districts of southern Punjab and Upper Sindh during the same period.

PMD has warned that wind storms, dust-thunderstorms, hailstorms and lightning can cause damage to loose structure.
