Pakistan’s meteorological department has predicted rain, thunderstorms and hail in several parts of the country for the next few days.
According to the advisory, precipitation is expected in Islamabad and other northern cities from April 16 to 18 with isolated showers, which are probably again on the evening of April 20.
Areas including Talagang, Jhelum, Chakwal, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Gujrat and Gujranwala will also probably experience rain and possible hail.
In Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Province, cities such as Swat, Shangla, Buner, Martan and Peshawar are expected to receive rain and hail from April 16 to April 20.
Murree, Dera Ismail Khan, Tank, Bannu, Galiyat and Waziristan are also on the list.
Southern Punjab is expected to face Gusty Vind and Thunderstorms on April 18 and 19.
The department has warned of potential landslides in Murree, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Galiyat during this period. Citizens have been asked to avoid standing near trees and electric poles during storms.
Meanwhile, Sindh is set to endure swelling temperatures this week, with most cities expected to remain under clear, sunny sky.
Karachi is expected to detect maximum temperatures between 35 ° C and 39 ° C from Tuesday to Thursday, with humidity levels reaching 81%.
Inland cities will look much higher temperatures. Hyderabad probably hits between 44 ° C and 48 ° C over the next three days, while Nawabshah is expected to touch a blistering 49 ° C with Thursday.
SUKKUR, MOHENJO-DARO and DADU will also face extreme heat, with heights from 43 ° C to 48 ° C.
Thatta, with a high humidity of 81%, will experience temperatures between 36 ° C and 40 ° C. Mithi is also expected to see stable temperatures from 43 ° C to 47 ° C.
