A rare breed dog was stolen from Hayatabad, Peshawar, and a policeman is found involved in the theft.
According to reports, after the dog was stolen, an advertisement was placed on an online platform for sale.
The owner, deeply fond of his pet, contacted the thieves and offered to pay twice as much as the price of recovering the dog, reported Express News.
The suspects were arrested while trying to sell the foreign farmed dog. Tatara police took action and arrested three people.
The Peshawar police confirmed that one of the arrested suspects is a police officer from the Khyber police.
Meanwhile, a stray dog attacked and wounded five children as they returned from school.
The dog attacked the children in the densely populated Badin Chali area, leaving them with damage to their faces, heads and bodies.
The wounded children, including Samir, Ali and others, were rushed to Civil Hospital Hyderabad, where they were administered anti-rabies vaccinations.
