Baltimore Ravens star Quarterback Lamar Jackson apologized for pushing a fan who let go of his helmet after a touchdown in 41-40 loss to Buffalo Bills on Sunday night.

The tab has since been banned indefinitely from NFL stadiums after striking both Jackson and the broad recipient Deandre Hopkins, who caught a one -handed touchdown on his first reception with Ravens. Hopkins led a celebration of the six points he had just scored when the tab both let go of their helmets.

While Hopkins did not reciprocate, Jackson pushed the tab but he is remorseful.

“Just chill next time,” Jackson said at Ravens practice on Wednesday in a message to fan via ESPN. “You can talk the trash and things but keep your hands for yourself.

“It just happened. I was pushed. I’m like, what? I didn’t even think that I was out there on the field. My apology to him.”

While the bills mounted a comeback in the fourth quarter, the tab had already been thrown out of the Highmark Stadium. Then it was reported on Monday that the tab had been banned from all NFL stadiums, including the bills.

Jackson added that he has not heard from the NFL about any potential discipline from his actions, although he had conversations with the RAVens GM Eric Decosta and head coach John Harbaugh, pr. Espn.

“As far as I can tell, we’re in a really good place with it,” Harbaugh said of Jackson’s situation.

This was not the only fan event at Bills’ home opener on Sunday when Derrick Henry’s 46-Yard score led someone to throw a frozen water bottle that almost hit the end zone.

Jackson and Ravens looked like they were on their way to victory on the road to start the 2025 NFL season, but it all went in the fourth quarter when Josh Allen and the bills fought back to win on a walk-off field goal.

Jackson finished the game 14-AF-19 in 209 yards and two passers-by-time touchdowns, while also rushing in 70 yards on six attempts with a touchdown on earth. Henry leads the NFL in rushing after his evening at 169 yards and two touchdowns.
