- Rayneo announces the launch month for Rayneo Air 3S glasses on MWC
- They land in April and cost only $ 259
- Despite being cheaper, they boast of better specifications than the last gene-air 2’s
Rayneo has set a month of release for its Rayneo Air 3S XR glasses on the MWC 2025-with their budget-friendly smart specifications due to land in April at a price of $ 259 (British pricing to be confirmed). Based on what we have seen, this can be the affordable smart specifications we have been waiting for.
These smart glasses act as a portable display for compatible tech like your phone, tablet, console or rayneo’s accessories such as its pocket -TV. They are practically projecting the screen in front of you as your own private cinema and even have built-in speakers to finish the package (although the little speakers can sometimes fight)
Plus Air 3s glasses boast multiple upgrades over Rayneo Air 2S, with a 650 NITS PEAK lighting, a larger eye box field, improved colors and contrasting conditions and all in a 2G-light 76G package.
They even seem to handle the typically impressive sound you get from smart glasses with Rayneo, which promises its Air 3s glasses, offers a 200% superior sound with improved heights, mids and bass thanks to a new double-height design. If that weren’t enough, they are also affordable with the new glasses that cost almost half of what $ 399 Rayneo Air 2s would put you back.
This marks the first of three smart glasses TCL and Rayneo are planning to launch this year, with the Rayneo X3 Pro and Rayneo V3 (which we saw on CES 2025) because of soil at some point as well, although no details have yet been given.
The budget specifications we have missed
We will have to test them out to ourselves, but the Rayneo Air 3s glasses may be just the next best cheap smart glasses on our list of the best smart glasses if they can stab the landing.
These laptops are some of my favorite gadgets for travel-what is either the commuter on a train or takes a flight-but also to use at home when I want to lie down in bed and still enjoy a big picture experience with a show or a movie. I just used a few Xreal specifications, I test for a review of flights to and from Italy and they were perfect.
Unfortunately, many of this style of smart glasses is not the most affordable – typically lands about $ 400 / £ 400. In addition, they may seem a little disappointing, which usually offers sound that requires you to get a pair of headphones (due to quality and sound leakage). They also typically just offer full-HD image resolution and you may need to buy an addition like Rayneo’s pocket TV or Xreal’s Beam Pro to feel you are getting a complete package.
At a lower price of $ 259, Rayneo Air 3S makes some of these problems easier to stomach, and it sounds like the specifications don’t just settle for mediocrity either-to lower the price while bringing upgrades over last generation specifications.
If they can live up to the hype, Rayneo Air 3S specifications may have put everyone on warning and may be the glasses you need to buy if you want to dip your toes in the XR world over the best VR Headsets.
