- Razer has launched his PC Remote Play Game Streaming Service
- This allows you to stream games from your PC to a mobile device
- It comes with optimization features and works with controllers
I love my game -pc but it’s not the most portable device in the world. At the same time, my iPhone 16 Pro is not able to play the best PC games due to all kinds of compatibility problems. That’s why Razer’s latest message – about the launch of his PC Remote Play system – got my interest.
According to the Razers Website, PC Remote Play allows you to stream games from your PC to a mobile device like an iPhone or an iPad, for handheld game devices or to a Windows-based computer. It is also compatible with a variety of mobile games controllers, while it supports keyboards, mouse and pegs when paired with a tablet.
Razer says PC remote games can automatically optimize your games based on the device and screen they are playing. It takes into account your device’s maximum resolution and update speed without locking your games into a fixed aspect relationship.
When used on an Android device paired with a Razer Kishi Ultra Controller, PC Remote Play can also add haptic feedback to the mixture. And it works with many of the biggest game platforms and libraries, including Steam, Epic Games, Microsoft’s PC Game Pass and more.
Gaming over the air
I make my fair share of mobile games, but I’ve never been really convinced to migrate away from my game -PC. Most of my favorite titles, such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Baldur’s Gate 3, do not have original mobile versions. Handheld game devices like the steam deck have always cost more than I wanted to use.
However, with something like Razer’s PC remote games, however, I can use my existing iPhone and Games controller to play away from my desk (as long as I am within the connection area of my PC, of course). Its optimization features are the cherry on the cake.
But will it convince me to spend most of my playing time on my iPhone? Maybe not, as nothing beats the big screen’s PC experience for me. But if you are looking for a new way to play on your mobile device without having to buy an expensive steam tire or similar product, it may be worth looking at.
