Rebecca Gayheart, the Jawbreaker the star, who is still married to Eric Dane, was spotted on a date with businessman Peter Morton.
Gayheart and Dane divorced in 2018, but the Scream 2 The actress rejected her divorce filing and soon after, Dane revealed that he had been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
They share two daughters, Billie Beatrice and Georgia Geraldine.
After her broken marriage, Gayheart and Morton first sparked relationship rumors in 2023 when they were spotted on a dinner date in LA, appearing to be on a double date with Claudia Schiffer and her husband, film director Matthew Vaughn.
The couple has kept a low profile out of the limelight.
More recently, they were spotted at the March 2025 pre-Oscars dinner and out on a date on December 3.
The pair rarely appear in public as Gayheart navigates her “complicated” relationship with Dane.
Earlier this year, Gayheart admitted on the Broad Ideas with Rachel Bilson & Olivia Allen podcast: “I definitely try to show [my daughters] that we stand up for people no matter what. And he is our family, he is your father.”
Gayheart added that the dynamic is “super complicated.”
While Gayheart tries to smooth out the relationship dynamic, Morton has been influential in Hollywood’s behind-the-scenes.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Morton helped finance the independent film Lock, Stock and Two smoking barrelswhich kick-started director Guy Ritchie’s career. He also helped finance Ritchie’s 2000s films, Snap.
