Red Sox -Fan catches a bad ball with own food

Some say it’s wrinkled to bring a glove to a baseball game to hang a vicious ball, but no one has ever said anything about food.

A Boston Red Sox fan became creative when a lining was heading directly to his seat on Thursday afternoon at Fenway Park.

At the top of the fifth lap was Toronto Blue Jay’s infielder Bo Bichette on the bat, and he made a sweeper from Walker Buehler.

Bichette was not happy with herself to swing on a pitch practically in the opposite batter’s box and hit his head with his bat.

But maybe he looked repeated and felt comforted by a fan’s effort.

The ball went directly against a fan in a Gray Sox jersey that used his meal as a glove.

Even more impressive it was an easy catch for the tab.

It wasn’t the only wild fan-related incident this week on Fenway. The day before, a fan caught two different bad balls. He went the light route with a glove.

Sox took home a 4-3 extra-in-in-in win on Thursday.

Boston tied the game in the eighth, after a wild pitch brought Rob Refsvyder home from the third and surrendered a race at the top of the 10th.

Things will be easier for Boston this weekend when faced with the low Chicago White Sox in a three-game.
