Danica Patrick reached great heights under her prominent Nascar and Indycar career. Now the retired driver takes his talents into a new sport.
The 42-year-old recently revealed that she started taking tennis lessons. Patrick suggested his turn to the new sport centered around the potential long -term health benefits.
In 2018, Forbes quoted a study from Denmark that decided that people who regularly play rackets could expand their lives.

“All rackets – along with active sports such as basketball and football – are assumed to help increase life, although tennis stands out among them all,” according to the study.

Patrick published a video discussing the possible benefits of rackets.
“That’s why tennis teaching,” she wrote the post to her Instagram story.

In another recent social media post, Patrick revealed that she developed an interest in golf about two years ago.

“I decided to actually learn to play golf about 2 years ago. Of course, it’s a small seasonal, mostly for warmth in AZ, but also work and skiing! I thought I had finally found it out last fall. Then I forgot how I hit my driver to start the year free … Until about 10 days ago.
Patrick is the most successful woman in car racing history. She made history when she became the first female driver to won a rod in the NASCAR CUP series, NASCAR’s highest level. She retired in 2018.
