Tennis legend Martina Navratilova has made it clear that her struggle to keep women’s sports fair is bigger than which side of the time she stands on politically.

When Simone Biles went on a personal attack on Riley Gaines in apparent defense of trans-transient athletes in women’s and girls’ sports, Navratilova supported the former NCAA All-American on this topic.

“Riley is Maga and I couldn’t disagree with her more about politics, but about keeping the sport safe and fair for girls and women I agree with her (100%),” Navratilova wrote on x Saturday. “Like most people, Republicans, Democrats and everything in between, too.”

Navratilova has made it clear that she is not a supporter of President Donald Trump, and a quick scan of her social media post would emphasize it. However, she has complained of the Democrats’ inaction over the question of transient athletes participating in the sports of women and girls.

When Trump signed an executive order to ban biological men from women’s and girls’ sports, she fired a tough message to the Democratic Party.

“I hate that the Democrats totally failed women and girls on this very clear question of only women’s sports for women,” she wrote in a post on X.

She also expressed her frustration in January when the House of Representatives adopted the protection of women and girls in the Sports Act. Only two Democrats voted with Republicans on the bill.

“More dems have to step up here. I know many who agree but are afraid of talking up because of re -election. I say to do the right thing. Wax a spine,” she wrote on X.

As the conversation around Biles and Outkick host rages on, Navratilova does not appear to back down from her attitude.
