Riley Gaines urges AOC to change position on trans athletes in women’s sports

As the national debate on trans-inclusion in girls and women’s sports has reached a boiling point in recent weeks, Rep has. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, DN.Y., been uncharacteristically quiet about the question. Now the conservative influencer Riley Gaines has expanded an invitation to the congregant to participate in the other side of the subject.

“I definitely think AOC, of course, she has a platform, she’s in an influence and power, and I think she could influence the democratic members to cross the line and return to Sanity. I think there’s a mandatory responsibility from each member of Congress,” Gaines told Pakinomist Digital in an exclusive interview.

Gaines believe that if Ocasio-Cortez suddenly had to take a stand on trans-inclusion in girls and women’s sports that it would be “performative” but that it would still benefit the congregation’s political reputation.

“While I do not agree with many other things outside this question that AOC stands for, I would definitely welcome her or any Democrat [for speaking out against trans inclusion]”Said Gaines.

“I don’t think AOC is out of contention to drive to president in 2028, and if so, [trans inclusion in women’s sports] is definitely something she would like to distance herself from. ”

Democratic voters abandon the party after AOC, Jeffries says anti-transtrance athlete Bill provides sexual predators

Ocasio-Cortez last talked about the question directly when the House of Representatives voted for the protection of women and girls in the Sports Act on January 14. That day, she gave a passionate, controversial speech on the house base where she claimed that the bill would strengthen children’s sexual predators and that “transparents are girls.”

The speech ignited tremendous setbacks and mockery, including by Democrats, one of whom told Pakinomist Digital that they and others were unregistering from the party in response.

Since then, President Donald Trump has passed an executive order that prohibits trans -cluttering in women’s and girls’ sports nationally, and NCAA has changed his gender eligibility to comply with the order. Meanwhile, several democratic states have openly defied Trump, which has led to federal studies against these states and potentially cuts for funding in response.

On Monday, the protection of women and girls in the Sports Act will receive a poll on the Senate floor.

Ocasio-Cortez has not weighed in the question despite being a remarkable spokesman for trans-inclusion in the past. She has only referred to a recent exchange between Trump and Maine Governor Janet Mills about the question with a bluesky post that says, “That’s how it’s done.” However, she has not dealt with Trump’s order or the question of trans cluttering as a whole in detail.

Women Rights ask the Senate Democrats to help provide the protection of women and girls in the sports law

During a virtual town hall that hosted Ocasio-Cortez on February 21, she did not address the problem despite Pakinomist Digital that sent a question on it. Ocasio-Cortez’s office has not answered any more requests for comment on the question from Pakinomist Digital via email.

Ocasio-Cortez mentioned the overall topic of democratic support to the trans community during an interview about “The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart” podcast on January 23rd.

“When we constantly allow ourselves to be distracted by these cultural wars around transgender people, it’s a new thing every day, and the answer is not that we just let these people be attacked, it’s that we say, ‘What are you doing, man?’ I think we have to do standing for these people just such a reflection that it is not even a debate, “Ocasio-Cortez said.

“As we have to understand and see the bait for what it is, but we do not take the bait by letting these rights just erode and go by the way.”

But Gaines are not surprised by Ocasion-Cortez’s and other Democrats, suddenly distance from the question of trans-inclusion in girls’ sports.

“We shouldn’t be surprised that this is the position AOC is taking,” Gaines said. “Number one, the culture cancels the grip, and number two, it means they are trying to distance themselves from their voting items or whatever it may be because they know this is a losing question. And it shows that they just have no conviction. From the start, this question has been a father.”

Riley Gaines Tears repeatedly in AOC to take the pronoun out of x bio after advocating for trans athletes

Ocasio-Cortez has previously voted for several bills that would allow trans-athletes to play in women’s and girls’ sports nationwide, including the Equality Act and transgender Bill of Rights. The congress winds previously suggested that the green party was “predators” in an X -post that responded to the 2024 Green Party VP -nominated Butch Ware, who spoke against trans -cluttering in women’s sports.

Before it criticized Ocasio-Cortez even former President Joe Biden, who made several efforts to enable trans-clutter, not to do enough to enable it.

In April 2023, when Biden proposed a title IX change that would ban the ban on trans athletes in girls’ sports, but would allow for a ban on students “based on a set of sex-related criteria that is unique to their community,” Ocasio-Cortez called it a “shame.”

“Absolutely no reason why the bit -the administrator does this. It is unjustifiable and embarrassing,” she wrote on x that month. “The administrator can still go back and they should. It’s a shame.”

However, the question of trans -cluttering in women’s and girls’ sports has become a broad opposite topic in the last year, and data suggests that it even affected the result of the 2024 election.

A recent New York Times/Ipsos Survey Found that the vast majority of Americans, including a majority of Democrats, do not think transking athletes should be allowed to compete in women’s sports.

“Thinking of Transgender female athletes – Meaning Athletes who were male at birth but who are currently identifying themselves as female – do you think they should or shouldn’t be allowed to compete in women’s sports? “Asked the study.

Of the 2,128 people who participated, 79% biological men who identify themselves as women said should not be allowed to participate in women’s sports. Of the 1,025 people who identified themselves as Democrats or inclined Democrat, 67%said transkon athletes should not be allowed to compete with women.

ONE National Exit Poll Made by the affected women for America Legislative Action Committee found that 70% of moderate voters saw the issue of “Donald Trump’s resistance to trans -bright boys and men playing girls and women’s sports and by transient boys and men using girls and women’s bathrooms” as important to them.

In addition, 6% said it was the most important question of all, while 44% said it was “very important.”
