As the national debate on trans-inclusion in girls and women’s sports has reached a boiling point in recent weeks, Rep has. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, DN.Y., been uncharacteristically quiet about the question. Now the conservative influencer Riley Gaines has expanded an invitation to the congregant to participate in the other side of the subject.

Ocasio-Cortez last talked about the question directly when the House of Representatives voted for the protection of women and girls in the Sports Act on January 14. On Monday, the protection of women and girls in the Sports Act will receive a poll on the Senate floor.

Ocasio-Cortez has not weighed in the question despite being a remarkable spokesman for trans-inclusion in the past. She has only referred to a recent exchange between Trump and Maine Governor Janet Mills about the question with a bluesky post that says, “That’s how it’s done.” However, she has not dealt with Trump’s order or the question of trans cluttering as a whole in detail.

Ocasio-Cortez mentioned the overall topic of democratic support to the trans community during an interview about “The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart” podcast on January 23rd.
