Road tax on highways to rise from 1.

National Highway Authority (NHA) has announced another increase in road tax rates for national highways, highways and highways marking the second hike this year. The revised tariffs will take effect on April 1st.

According to the latest review, the RS70 will now be charged for cars, RS150 for carts, RS250 for buses, RS300 for two- and three-axle trucks and RS550 for large articulated trucks. Tax speeds on major highways, including M1, M3, M4, M5, M14 and E-35 Expressway, have also been revised.

For the M1 motorway connecting Islamabad and Peshawar, the road tax for cars has been increased from the RS500 to the RS550. On the M3 route – from Lahore to Abdul Hakeem – the tax has risen from RS700 to RS800.

The tax for cars traveling on the M4 motorway – from Pindi Bhattian to Faisalabad and Multan – has risen from RS950 to RS1.050.

For the M5 route – between Multan and SUKKUR, the toll is raised from RS1.100 to RS1.200. Motorists on the M14 motorway from Dera Ismail Khan to Hakla now pay the RS650, up from the RS600.

Tax tax on Hassan Abdal-Havelian-Mansehra Expressway (E-35) has risen from RS250 to RS300 for cars, where larger vehicles also experience an increase in charges across all highways and highways.
