Robert de Niro just called us President Donald Trump, a “bully,” and that people have to stand up against his remarks and Rants.

At the Cannes Film Festival, after the legendary actor, Honor Palme D’Or, he told The GuardianThat accepting an award abroad felt like a postponement from the political upheaval of the United States.

“We have to stop what’s going on, it’s insane,” they said Niro, adding, “We can’t have apathy and silence. You have to talk up and risk being harassed.”

Using his acceptance speech, Casino Star, who has been vocal critic of Trump since 2016, aimed at “America’s Philistine President.”

He urged people to listen to action “without violence, but with great passion and determination” that asked people to organize, protest, vote and “show our strength” during the film festival.

He discussed that even though his comments make him worry about his life, they put Niro, “But I’m too old for all that. The man is a bully and you can’t let bullies win. If a bully comes to your lunch money on Monday, he will ask for more on Tuesday. You have to get up. And I wouldn’t look at myself if I didn’t.”

This is also not the first time Veteran Star has commented on Donald Trump with Robert de Niro, who previously notices the politician as “stupid” at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival while discussing his character in Killers on the floral moon.
