The desert is a mainstay of Dune universe, and Robert Pattinson, who has confirmed rumors that he is starring in the upcoming installment, is learning this the hard way.
In an interview with IndieWirehe says, “When I was making Dune, it was so hot in the desert that I just couldn’t question anything.”
The star continues: “And it was so relaxing, like my brain was actually not working, I didn’t have a single functioning brain cell.”
“And I just listened to Denis [Villeneuve]: ‘Whatever you want!’ adds: “I actually found it relaxing. Now I’m taking it into other roles,” adds the 39-year-old.
Reports earlier suggested Twilight The actor was set to play an important villain in the upcoming film. However, it is unclear which character he will play. Fans, meanwhile, believe the star will portray Scytale, the shape-shifting Face Dancer.
Dune 3 is set to open in theaters in 2026.
