Robert Pattinson, an American actor, is set to appear in the beloved Korean reality show, Running man.
He recently attended a press conference at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall, Seoul for his upcoming film Mickey 17.
The crew of Running man was also spotted in the area, prompting fans to speculate whether Pattinson would appear on the show.
A representative of the series quickly responded to the rumors, “Robert Pattinson is not making an official guest appearance. He just happened to drop by the ‘Running Man’ filming location and made a brief appearance. The episode [featuring this moment] airs on February 9.”
The actor is currently in the midst of a promotional tour for his film, which is a sci-fi film. It is directed by the minds behind the Oscar-winning film ParasiteBong Joon Ho.
“A one-time employee is sent on a human expedition to colonize the ice world of Niflheim. After an iteration dies, a new body is regenerated with most of his memories intact,” reads the synopsis.
Mickey 17 also stars veteran actor Mark Ruffalo, Steven Yeun, Toni Collette and Naomi Ackie. It will be released in theaters in the United States on March 7.
