- Roborock F25 Ultra is a wet -dry vacuum with steam and hot water states
- It can be remote controlled via a companion -App
- It is tested on sensitive hardwood floors and proven to cause minimal wear
Roborock may have just set a new standard in wet-and-dry cleaning: The newly revealed F25 Ultra offers steam and hot water cleaning modes to tackle hard and oily waste with minimal elbow grease.
It is one of a number of exciting new products I have seen from Roborock on IFA 2025 (along with, exciting, the brand’s first robotic lawn mowers). We evaluate the Roobrock F25 ACE as one of the very best wet and dry cleaners around, but this new model has even more tricks up the sleeve.
In VaporFlow mode, cleaner 150C / 302F steam bursts from six stores. I saw it in action and tackle the greasy ketchup on a tiled floor. The game was cleared in a single passport without smearing – really impressive.
Steam cleaning is great for most hard flooring, but is not always ideal for hardwood floors. In tests, however, Roborock has found that there was minimal wear and damage to hardwood floors, even after extensive use. This cleaner also uses steam in its self -cleaning feature to ensure that the mop pads are as clean as possible after use.
To complement this is wave flow mode that delivers a continuous current of 86c / 187f hot water, as the brand says is ideal for tackling fat and “mucus” (EW), and by testing achieved a 100% removal speed for cooking oil.
There is an impressive 22,000pa suction and the detergent delivers 33N downward pressure to scrub ingrown dirt. Each wheel has independent control; The cleaning agent knows if you are moving forward, backwards or round corners and driving the relevant wheels to make it as effortless as possible.
Like its predecessors, it can be completely flat to the ground, but here because of the power assistant function you can also burst your F25 down to the ground under a closet and ask it to clean forward and backwards (via the app) and it will do it all on your own.
I got some kind of demo (the model on the show was not connected to the app but managed to run myself) and I’m not sure how useful this will be in practice, but it’s definitely unique.
Roborock F25 Ultra will first be sold in the US and the EU with a list price of $ 799 / € 799 (about £ 600 / AU $ 1,425).
