World Series Master Roger Clemens approached the recent conviction of Ryan Wesley Routh trying to murder President Donald Trump last September, Tuesday.

During an interview on Pakinomist’ “The Will Cain Show”, Clemens was asked about his reaction to news that Routh was found guilty of all charges of the murder attempt.

“You just take a big deep breath,” Clemens said. “I still shake my head from not long ago as they in Pennsylvania let a crazy man into a rally with a golf course -finder. I mean, I just shake your head on this. Like, why are you going into a rally with a golf -finder?”

Clemens, an open Trump supporter who has been a friend of the president and played golf with him in the past, responded to the fact that Routh was trying to murder Trump on a golf course while the president played.

“When we golfed with him last in Virginia, the president hit the ball beautifully, but it’s a bit intense when you have 30 golf wagons and you have SWAT teams and secret service around you,” Clemens said.

“I love him. The reason I voted for him is because he is not nonsense, common sense and no-nonsens. I love it about him.”

Clemens encouraged Americans who may not agree with Trump to still root for his success and compare the views of these people with his views on former President Barack Obama.

“I didn’t voted for [Obama]But when he became our president, I messed up to him to do something good for us, and that’s how I always feel people should come together, “Clemens said.

Lawors on Tuesday handed down a guilty verdict for Routh on all charges after trying to murder Trump at his West Palm Beach Golf Club last September.

Routh, 59, was indicted for five federal criminal counts, including attempts to murder a major presidential candidate, assault on a federal officer and more firearms.

After the verdict was read, Routh allegedly seemed to try to stick himself in the neck with a pen before four American marshals detained him.
