Ron Howard recently became honest and opened to work with his younger brother Clint Howard.
Talking to PEOPLEThe 71-year-old director and film producer said he is proud of his younger brother who recently had a guest role on the soap opera The bold and the beautiful As musician Tom Starr.
Ron admitted that it is “not surprising” that Clint was thrown on the popular show where he quipped: “He is a great character actor and so recognizable, and therefore people are always excited when he shows up in something.”
The Oscar winner added, “I think he agreed to make an episode on the series and they wounded – he run with a character race. He is inventive, he is unique and he is a talented guy.”
In particular, Clint has worked in 17 films directed by Ron, including Grand Theft Auto, Cocoon, How The Grinch Chairs Christmas, Parenthood, and Apollo 13.
“He’s great to work with. He’s just seen it all, done it all,” Happy days Actor who practiced the new Apple TV+ documentary series Fight for Glory: 2024 World Seriesnoted.
“He is a professional and he contributes. Every time I’ve had a chance to throw him into something meaningful, I never forced him in there. But every time I can throw Clint, I know it’s a character I don’t have to worry about,” Ron noted and sang praise from his younger brother.
