A royal expert has made a shocking claim about Prince William and Prince Harry’s bond, revealing it was a “myth” the two had a good relationship before Megxit.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzgerald revealed how “unhappy” Harry was living with the royal family even before Meghan Markle entered his life.

As per GB news, The expert revealed that the brothers, who are no longer on speaking terms, did not split following Harry’s decision to step down as a senior working royal in 2020.

Fitzwilliams further revealed how Meghan put Harry out of his misery, saying the duchess’ struggle to adjust to royal life contributed to the couple’s decision to leave.

“Harry was very unhappy,” the expert said. “If you read Spare, it’s clear that his relationship with William is not what we thought.”

“The inseparable brothers were a myth,” he revealed.

Harry and Meghan have been vocal about the issues they faced as members of the royal family ever since stepping down as senior working royals.

“They felt they were being targeted,” Fitzwilliams said. “The world, in my opinion, should not have been told this that way.”

“But they were and I don’t think anyone’s mentorship would have made any difference to what actually happened because I don’t think Meghan was suited to the role.

“Meghan only lasted about a year and a half as a senior working royal before they signaled their displeasure.

“The fact that she was so used to the red carpet and the crowd, it was thought that she and Harry would be perfect for the role. She was, of course, deeply unhappy.

“I didn’t want to put a specific reason behind it because Harry was also unhappy, and I think Meghan vented in a way.”
