King Charles is reportedly in a difficult position after a newly revealed e email between Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein raised fresh concerns about the Duke’s previous statements.
The newly discovered E email was sent shortly after a photo was published by Andrew with Virginia Giuffre, which suggests he was still in contact with Epstein at one point in spite of claiming their ties had ended.
In a talk about the case, royal commentator Ingrid Seward said the message is painting an uneasy picture of Andrew’s commitment to Epstein.
She told me People’s Channel That the situation reflects poorly on the Duke of York and the royal family and puts King Charles in a tough place.
“It’s very cursing. And it seems he was in all Cahoots with Epstein. And unfortunately for him and for the royal family, I don’t think that’s the end of that, I think.
“There’s a lot more to come out. That’s the problem. It’s an ongoing situation.”
The expert also noted that the E email “just looks shaking to Yorks”, adding that it puts pressure on Charles as “everyone asks” what to do.
“Now I think his hands are quite tied because – that’s just my opinion – I don’t know this, but his mother obviously wanted Charles to look after Andrew,” she continued,
“The Queen knew he had had many problems and that she must have handed over her care to her older brother.
“Because otherwise I can’t imagine that Charles wouldn’t have felt obliged to get Andrew out of there.
“But I think he is bound between his mother’s wishes and his situation is like king and head of state.”
