‘Rude’ Chappell Roan accused of pushing her assistant on red blanket

Chappell Roan’s interaction with red carpet with assistant becomes viral

Chappell Roan is accused of “pushing” her assistant away at last week’s event with red carpet.

The 27-year-old singer was at the 2025 Fashion Los Angeles Awards Red Carpet last week when a video of her became viral to allegedly be rude to her assistant.

That video showed the Grammy winner waving her fans while two of her companions were close to her. The singer then went against his fans and moved her assistant away in the process by using her arm as they appeared to collide.

The assistant’s expression was also caught in the video as her eyes got wider with a wry smile. However, another closer angle showed a very light shock, with the singer gently moving the assistant.

However, Netizens soon shared the viral videos, with some fluttering Roan for being “rude” and “uneven”, while other fans called the critics to dramatize the interaction.

“Even if she didn’t push her, it was still rude. Obviously, the woman was trying to go a way and not so chappell and moved her out as it was unnecessary,” a user wrote on social media.

Another user felt that “it was an emotional and psychological push, with the hand there to derive a push … really creepy”, while a third fan also agreed.

“Even as a fan of her, it is quite obvious that it was rude of her to do it, even if she did not touch the woman, it was still rude and disrespectful to do,” read the comment.

Not all of her fans doubted her intention, as a pointed out that the singer “literally just knocked on her to let her know she’s there because she is looking the other way?”

Another also said, “she didn’t do anything wrong at all,” with a more devoted fan who noticed, “This was clearly just a misunderstanding.”

The fan continued, “they both tried to go a way, not see each other and collide, Chappell put her hand up so she would not encounter her, and the woman supported away on her own, poor chappell always in unfortunate situations.”
