President Donald Trump is participating in the first day of the Ryder Cup this weekend at Bethpage Black, and so have members of Team USA excited.
Both Scottie Scheffler and Keegan Bradley felt about his participation in People’s Country Club, and his YouTube-Medstar Bryson DeChambeau is also excited.
The two-time US open champion even believes that Trump could add some motivation to the team representing the stars and stripes.

“I hope he will inspire us to victory. I think he will be a great strength for us to get a lot of people on our side,” DeChambeau told journalists on Thursday. “I think it will be interesting and exciting to see how the amount and everyone reacts. It will be an electric environment.”
The Ryder Cup will be the third sporting event this month, Trump will have participated, all of which have been in the New York Metro area.
Trump was present for the Men’s US Open final on September 7 and participated in a New York Yankees game against Detroit Tigers four days later, 24 -year anniversary for September 11.
Defecbeau had Trump in one of his “Breaking 50” videos last year, shortly before the first murder attempt at Trump in Butler, PA. Trump returned in favor of inviting him on stage during his victory speech last November.

European Ryder Cup player not impressed with Trump’s participation: ‘Just another spectator’
Any view of public political inclinations in athletes could lead to a loss or gain of fans, but when asked by Pakinomist Digital last year if Defchambeau had any regret about making the video with Trump, DeChambeau said, “Not at all.”
“There is always a risk associated with it. But from my perspective, it was focused on entertainment,” Defechambeau told Pakinomist Digital at Maridoe Golf Club, the site of last year’s Life Golf Team Championship, outside Dallas. “We can talk about politics – it’s a whole other conversation, something I didn’t try to do on my YouTube channel, it was solely to provide good entertainment.”
