- Rocket Enterprise SSD delivers up to 7,000 MB/s Reading speeds with low latency performance
- Have a 2.5 million hour MTBF and an Ultra-low bit failure speed
- Supports both U.2 and U.3 -Burfries, making it incompatible with Standard Desktop Motherboard
Sabrent has introduced its first major SSD, The Rocket Enterprise PCIE 4.0 U.2/U.3 NVME SSD, designed for company-Inclusive data centers and large-scale operations by offering up to 30.72TB storage, as well as Micron’s 9550 NVME Enterprise SSD, which was released in 2024.
Sabrent’s product list notes that the device is not intended for consumer use, but companies that require high -speed storage solutions with high speed.
The new SSD delivers speeds of up to 7,000 MB/s to sequential readings and 6,800 MB/s for sequential writing and also delivers up to 1,600K IOPS to 4K random readings, providing the speed required for AI tools, server applications and large-scale data control.
Achievement tailored to company workload
Rocket Enterprise PCIE 4.0 offers corporate features such as naming areas and power loss protection with an endurance assessment on a DWPD.
The highest capacity model of 30.72TB can handle over 56PB written data over its lifetime, and it also has a bit fault rate (Uber) of less than one sector per sector. 10^18 bit read, ensuring data integrity.
In terms of reliability, SSD boasts an average time between errors (MTBF) of 2.5 million hours, reducing the likelihood of unexpected errors. To maintain the performance, SSD offers the SD’s lasting low-laten’s 4K random reader and writing.
It works effectively, consumes 21W during active use and only 6W while it is inactive.
SSD supports both the U.2 and U.3 interfaces, which can be used at the same time to ensure compatibility with a wide range of business storage systems. However, this form factor makes the incompatible with standard desktop motherboards that typically use M.2 or SATA connections.
Even if you could use it in a consumer setup, you might give it another thought – the largest 30.72 GB model of Rocket Enterprise PCIe 4.0 is priced at just under $ 4,500.
