Sabrina Carpenter reportedly sees a role in the next Mamma Mia film.
According to Star MagazineThe 26-year-old pop sensation has secretly hoped to participate in Hit ABBA-inspired franchise.
“Sabrina has been obsessed with ABBA since she was a little girl,” a source tipped.
They continued to address, “so it is no exaggeration to say that this would be a dream that came true to her.”
For those who are not daring, Espresso Hitmaker has already brought her Abba Love to the stage and performed classics such as Dancing Queen Under its set during the opening of Taylor Swift at Epocher tour.
However, the insider noted that although Carpenter “really wants”, she administers her expectations.
“She’s not trying to get ahead of herself. She trusts that if it’s meant for her, it will happen.”
Whether she lands or not Mamma MiaHollywood seems ready to give Carpenter her big screen moment.
“She will definitely be on the big screen soon because Hollywood is very interested,” the source added.
“She has already proven that she can act, but she is not resting on her laurels; she has studied with a good coach.”
Producer Judy Craymer even weighed on the idea and told the deadline in May that Carpenter “would be a goddess or some relationship that would look like very Meryl Streep” if she were to join the beloved franchise.
