Islamabad:
Pakistani mountaineer Sajid Ali Sadpara successfully summarized 8.167 meters high Dhaulagiri, the world’s 7th highest mountain, without additional oxygen, the Alpine Club said in Pakistan (ACP) on Sunday.
According to AVS Secretary Karrar Haidri, this extraordinary performance was made possible with the support of Seven Summit Treks Nepal and Sabroso Pakistan, with technical climbing equipment proudly sponsored by Kailas. “It’s a proud and historic moment for Pakistan and the global mountaineering community,” he added.
In February 2021, Sajid’s father Muhammad Ali Sadpara disappeared while trying to summit K2.
