- In addition to its highly expected Galaxy Tri-Fold-Smartphone, we could also see a new pair of AI glasses and the company’s first XR headset

Samsung is ready for another telephone and tablet launch event on September 4, but the company is also the tip of advertising three exclusive devices at the end of the month at another unpacked event in South Korea until September 29.
The event would be Samsung’s third unpacked event this year, and according to Sammobile, the company will announce its long-awaited tri-folding galaxy phone, an XR headset and AI glasses.
Samsung teased the Galaxy Tri-Fold during the Galaxy S25 launch in January, but did not reveal much about the device. Most of what we need to continue so far is based on leaks and rumors, including an animation shared in a recent post on X of a delicious showing its possible design (see below).
The same post suggests that Samsung’s next foldable could pack a Triple-Linse Back Camera ARRAY similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 7s, something that Sammobile also highlighted. The Galaxy Tri-Fold is also the tip of having a 6.5-inch tire screen, as well as an almost 10-inch main screen when the device is unfolded.
Increases ante on AI -hardware
As for Samsung’s rumor AI glasses (reportedly developed under the Codename project Haean), they are ready to include a on board camera, speakers and a microphone. Back in May we had a short practical session with Samsung’s prototype XR glasses, and the finished product is likely to offer fierce competition for Meta’s Ray Ban Smart Glasses.
We have been following the progress of Samsung’s first Android XR headset (called Project Moohan) since it was announced last December and it is formed to be a serious competitor to Apple Vision Pro. But when it comes to sales dates, it’s still a bit up in the air.
While Samsung has not yet confirmed a release date for the headset, Sammobile claims the company is targeting on October 13. Outlet also says that if this is the case that the Galaxy Tri-Fold smartphone could sell shortly after, but we may have to wait a little longer for the smart glasses to only fall, with Sammobile, predicting that they will go for sale just before the end of the year, it has also fallen a wider roll-out.
