- AI with gemini including voice activation plus translation in real time
- The best battery life of any galaxies
- Buds 3 Pro -looking and checks including pinch and welding movements
It’s not a leak, it’s not a rumor, and it’s not another accident: Samsung Galaxy Bud 3 FE (or Bud3 FE, as Samsung likes to style it) is here.
This has not been an easy way: the buds were discovered on June 12, leaked on July 22, and then actually launched too early by Samsung’s Panama arm on August 7, but now they are Officially Officially here, as advertised by Samsung.
So what’s new? The first thing to note is actually something that is not New, and it is BUD 3 FE’s strong resemblance to the flagship knobs 3 pro. And it’s also not just a beautiful dress: You also get BUDs 3 Pro’s control functions, including pinch and ironing movements (yes, you can push the blade to adjust the volume).
The knobs 3 FE are also IP54 classified for dust, sweat and water resistance, which is a high rating for buds and something I love to see.
Another thing I love to see? The longest cited battery life for any galaxies to date with up to 8.5 hours of uninterrupted listening in the earpieces (or 6 with ANC ON) or 30 hours including case charging (24 hours with ANC ON).
With the subject AnC promises Samsung improved noise cancellation and call quality from the six-mic array as a microphone in each ear piece has moved into the blade, closer to the mouth of clear voice collection.
And although the buds still contain a solo dynamic driver under the hood -which also houses a Bluetooth 5.4 chipset with SSC (Samsung Seamless Codec) Plus AAC and SBC Support -it is a little bigger this time for more immersive sound.

But let’s get granular: What about AI? Like their pro -siblings, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE Google Gemini includes voice activation plus translation that piped into the buds in real time via the Samsung draw -all part of the Galaxy AI package.
To clarify (in case you are not yet familiar with this particular kind of Samsung-Meets-Google Tech), it means you can access Google Gemini for Conversation-IA help, but with the Galaxy AI-Tolket app you will also be able to use real-time people through the buds or live translation to translate phone calls while they happen.
Of course, this is Samsung, so the knobs 3 FE works seamlessly with your Samsung TV, Tablet, PC or Phone, with Auto-Switch to Let-Breezy Device Shift and as you would expect, Find the My Earbuds feature here so you can get the buds to send out a ‘beep’ if you mislead one.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 FE is available in two finish-black and gray-with a matte double-colored finish.
We can’t guarantee the sound yet, but if these ‘fan -editions’ buds live up to the hype in testing, our best earplugs buy guide may well have a fresh competitor … See this space.
Galaxy Buds 3 FE will be sold in the US on September 4 at Samsung.com as well as selected retailers for $ 149.99 – it’s about £ 110 or AU $ 230, although official prices for these regions have not yet to be confirmed.
