- Tipster Evan Blass allegedly not shared — released knobs 3 FE -images on x
- The pictures now show the message ‘withdrawn by the copyright holder’
- After a leaking bud core release, Samsung can tighten the reins
Must be tough on being one of the biggest names in tech. Imagine journalists (yes, like me) and eager fans in every corner, try to top behind the red velvet curtain and get the scoop before anyone else – especially when it’s a new set of ‘Fan Edition’ Samsung earplugs that assumed to be significantly cheaper than flagship Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.
Late last week, Tipster Evan Blass noticed to X to place a photo entitled ‘GB3FE’ (see what they did there) showing what was said to be Galaxy Buds 3 FE – as reported by Android headlines.
The thing is that the aforementioned image is now empty except for a placeholder message that simply reads:
Media not shown
This photo has been removed in response to a report from the copyright holder
Is this an indication that the image was actually an official Samsung Press shot of the non -published Galaxy -Buds 3 FE -and Samsung didn’t like it? Impossible to say with certainty, but it is definitely possible …
Why so coy, Samsung?
You can remember the somewhat random release of Galaxy Buds Core. They were first spotted in an APK demolition next to the still unofficial Samsung Galaxy Bud 3 FE on June 12, then listed by name in a tweet of Samsung India on June 23, along with a launch date for June 27 (and even an Amazon listing) and then June 26, Samsung is UAE. It just felt like there could have been an E email.
Also consider the fact that there is no Galaxy Bud 2 FE model. Essentially the latest official Samsung Galaxy earplugs, Bud Core, adopt this position, which means the knobs 3 FE (the non-released set you are reading about now) are both a follow-up of the original Galaxy Buds FE and they are not.
What I am trying to say is that it feels to me as if Evan Blass’ leaked pictures were probably real, but that Samsung really wants to get this launch right and minimize confusion so it is not to have it, many thanks.
Given that the August 2024 issue Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro is still some of the very best earplugs we have tested (but far from the cheapest), I can see why Samsung wants to refine and perfect the launch rocket this time.
And so far it doesn’t do a bad job! Apart from the efforts of Android Authority, which handed out the name ‘Galaxy Buds 3 FE’ from the latest Galaxy Buds Controller app in June (Wear OS version, v1.0.08.38), and this now-absorbed image, concrete information on Buds 3 FE is incredibly hard to find.
Be sure that as we know more, you should. For now we are waiting – but at least it seems still more as if we are waiting for something right and may not wait too much anymore …
