- Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is certified by FCC, which suggests it will soon be launched
- We’ve also seen dummy units on the phone in two colors
- A third color is also expected and can be seen in leaked wallpapers
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge could be this year’s next big smartphone launch – we allegedly see it in April, and that is definitely credible considering how much the device apparently delicious.
The latest leaks give us a closer look at the phone’s supposed colors, with South Korean YouTuber The Sinza (via Android Authority), showing some dummy devices in both black and white shades.
These dummy devices are not functional handsets, but probably show the right dimensions as well as port and button placements, as Dummy devices tend to be used by accessory manufacturers so they can design cases before a phone’s launch.
Look at
Awkward port location
So in other words, the overall form we see here can be accurate-what is a bit unfortunate, because while the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge looks appropriate slim, you can see that its USB-C charging port and SIM card castle are both off-center; Or more specifically, they are the house closer to the bottom of the frame than the top.
While it may mean that these dummy devices are not accurate, we will guess that it is equally likely that this is a design compro’s that Samsung has done to fit all components of such a slim handset.
In any case, along with the two colors here – which certainly look quite striking – Samsung was also joined to send the Galaxy S25 edge in a titanium ice -knot hue. In fact, more evidence of it comes from some leaked wallpaper to the phone, shared by Max Jambor on X, which seems to match the three rumored handset colors.
Unfortunately, we do not have any pictures of what that nuance looks on the phone itself, but it may well be the most interesting of the three.
However, we should get an official look at all the colors soon because – as discovered by 91mobiles (via PHANDOID) – Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has also been certified by FCC (Federal Communications Commission).
Unfortunately, the certification does not reveal much, but the phone would only be certified close to the launch so we could see the Galaxy S25 Edge in April or May. Until recently, most leaks pointed to a May disclosure, but the latest leakage on the release date points to a message on April 16. So the wait is really almost over.
