- A complete specification list for Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is leaked
- This is virtually with what we have heard before but include new details such as the presence of wireless charging
- Pricing is also leaked and as with previous leaks sets this S25 edge between the S25 Plus and Ultra
We are probably less than two weeks away from the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, with the 13th of May, which was jerked to be the big day. But ahead of it, a larger leak has tilted almost any specs and function.
The reputable Leaker Roland Quandt Writing for Winfuture has claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will be only 5.85 mm thick, weighs 163g and has a titanium frame, with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the back and Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 – which is said to be special – at the forefront.
When we talk about the front, it apparently has a 6.7-inch 1440 x 3120 AMOLED display with a 120Hz update speed and it is said that there is an ultrasound sensor under-display fingerprint sensor.
Quandt also claims that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has a Snapdragon 8 elite chipset, 12 GB of RAM and a choice of 256 GB or 512 GB of storage.
For the cameras, there is apparently a 200mp f/1.7 head one with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 12MP f/2.2 Ultra-covering with a 120-degree field of view and no OIS. Apparently, it also has a 12MP f/2.2 front facing camera.
Completion of the specifications claims Quandt that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has a 3,900 mAh battery, wireless charging and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
Looks like what we’ve heard before
These are mostly things we have heard before, but there is a little more detailed here than in previous leaks, such as mention of wireless charging, the exact building materials and the details beyond megapixel in the camera specifications.
Since we have largely heard this before, and as it comes from a reputable source, it may well be accurate, in which case – as expected – the most important compromises Samsung has apparently done to get the phone so thin, the absence of a telephoto camera and low battery capacity includes.
Despite these compromises, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is likely to not be cheap, with Quandt claiming it will start at € 1,249 (about $ 1,415 / £ 1,065 / AU $ 2.205) in Germany, which you get 256 GB stock for 512 GB.
The price conversions we have included are unlikely to be accurate, but especially to put it between the price of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra in Germany, which we expect it to land globally based on other rumors.
You will reportedly be able to choose between Titanium Jet Black, Titanium Icy Blue and Titanium Silver Shades, which you can see in the rendering above, and apparently it will send in Germany around the end of May, which makes sense if it is announced on May 13.
