- Now there is a card on the latest UI 7 Beta
- There is no user interface so the fetave cannot be used properly
- Its presence suggests it may come to older phones with a UI 7
For many, the best new Samsung Galaxy S25 feature is now short, but for a while it seemed that the feature would remain exclusive for only Samsung’s latest phone release, even when a UI 1 rolls out to other phones. Fortunately, after all, it seems that a few older phones are coming short.
Now, short is a practical AI tool that gets you ready for the coming day with useful information like what events you have today, what travel times are, so you can avoid being too late, how well you are based on data from your smartwatch and whose coupons in your digital wallet are close to expiring.
It will even give you different orientations based on when you check (with morning, afternoon and evening briefings focusing on different information), and our own senior author AI John-Anthony Disotto now calls briefly “exactly the kind of first-party functionality that I think will make a real difference to users’ lives and, in turn, showcase the true power of AI.”
Look at
Unfortunately, the feature has been absent from one UI 7 -Software -Betas that is currently available for older devices such as Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 phones.
This has led many to believe that it would not be unlocked for these phones, but it turns out that it is now short hidden in one UI -Beta.
It is according to @Memetcan88 that managed to access the hidden feature of an S24 that runs the latest UI 7 Beta (via Sammobile, which confirmed that it is also available on other devices).
Breaking. Now short feature is available in the S24 series. Oneui 7 Beta 6 is also hidden, but I have revealed with Activity Launcher. @Tarunvats33 @sammobiles @theonecid @universeice Pic.twitter.com/uvlohzojau31 March 2025
However, it did not work entirely, with the hidden now card that lacked the necessary user interface to work properly.
So what does that mean? Well, the optimistic among us hopes that it means that it will now make it short for older devices. However, considering the full release must begin on April 7, it may be a feature that is not released to a few update cycles.
The more pessimistic look is that Samsung has hidden this feature because it may have been thinking of releasing now briefly, but ultimately decided to keep it exclusive to its new phones – and it was easier to hide shortly than to remove it completely from a UI 7.
We will have to wait and see what is announced when an UI 7 arrives in older phones and after the following updates, but there is still a chance that the best Samsung Galaxy S25 feature will make its way to older phones – and we hope seriously.
