There were concerns that Samsung could ditch the s pen from the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. After all, the company dropped its support from the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and removed its Bluetooth functionality with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. But not only does it look like the S -Pen will stay around – it also apparently gets a stylish redesign.
Recognized Tipster @universeice has shared a reproduction showing the top part of an S pen inside what is apparently Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
We only see a little of the pen here, but it is a long curved top than you find on the Galaxy S25 Ultras S Pen, and that is a change that – based on this picture at least – we are quite happy.

This may be a necessary change as rumors suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra itself will have curved corners – one of which you can also see here. So given the location of S Pen’s slot, the pen must also be curled to match the phone’s design.
Until Samsung reveals the Galaxy S26 Ultra, of course we would take all this with a pinch of salt, but the source has a good track record.
This may be s pen’s last excursion
Even if the S -Pen is retained on the Galaxy S26 Ultra, its days could be numbered. We would not be surprised if this is the last excursion for Samsung’s stylus, considering that its capabilities have already been reduced, and since the castle to house it occupies a lot of space that could be used for other components or a slimmer phone.
Ditching of the S -Pen can also allow Samsung to finally increase the battery capacity of its flagship, as apparently Doesn’t happen to S26 Ultra.
But at least for next year’s model, S PEN fans are likely to be lucky – we will probably find out for sure in January or February, as it is probably when this phone will be revealed.
