One of the more about the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 rumors we’ve heard is that it may use an Exynos 2500 chipset as it would be an upgradable chipset on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 used by Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, it’s not the most desirable chip.
It would be Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is the successor to Gen 3, and probably more skilled than Samsung’s own exynos alternative. But now there is hope that we might get the Snapdragon 8 elite after all.
Greek Site TechManiacs claims to have learned that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 will use this chipset, as well as having a larger battery than its predecessor of 4,300mAh, a larger 4-inch tire screen (up from 3.4 inches on Z Flip 6) and the same 50-megapixel head and 12MP ultra-wide cameras.
With the exception of the chipset, this thing we’ve heard before is, and although most previous leaks pointed to an Exynos 2500 chipset, it was suggested that there is Galaxy Z Flip 7 prototypes with both chipset.
So TechManiacs are not alone in demanding Snapdragon 8 elite will be used. But if Samsung Prototypes both versions, it is possible that either the company has still not decided or that some regions will use one and some of the other.
Turn to the fold
In any case, TechManiacs has also shared some details of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and claims it will only be 8.2 mm thick when folded, which would make it far slimmer than 12.1 mm Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6.
They also say that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will have a Snapdragon 8 elite chipset -although unlike Z -Flip 7, this was always rumored for Z Fold 7.
As previously jerked earlier, it can have a new 200MP main camera (up from 50MP on the Galaxy Z Fold 6), along with the same 12MP ultra-covering and 10MP 3x telehoto cameras as last year.
Finally, it will apparently cost about € 100 (about $ 115 / £ 85 / AU $ 180) More than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, though we would take this with a pinch of salt as other Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Price Roasts set it at the same price as last year.
We had to find out exactly how much Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 costs – and everything else knows it and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 – pretty soon as rumors suggest that both phones will land in July.
