Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 may not be a comprehensive upgrade of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 from what we have heard so far, with various aspects that may remain the same. But there are some parts of the phone that are likely to be significantly improved.
Although nothing is probably yet, we can look at alleged leaks and rumors to get a good idea of what specifications we might see.
So that is exactly what we have done below and where there are no tips we have used trained guesses to fill some of the holes.

If you are familiar with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6’s specifications, you will notice that the predicted specifications in the diagram above are a mixture of old and new ones. But let’s start with some of the areas where the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 is reportedly an improvement in its predecessor.
One of the most important upgrades could be the screen sizes, with several sources suggesting that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 could have an approx. 4-inch tire screen up from 3.4 inches on the Samsung Galaxy Z-FLIP 6. So it would make the front significantly larger this year.
One of these sources also points to a slightly larger 6.85 inch folding screen up from 6.7 inches on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7. So in both cases you should have more space to interact with the phone, although this should have the greatest influence on the cover display, which is quite cramped on Z Flip 6.
So far there is no word about the resolution, but presumably the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 will either match or better Z -Flip 6 here, which means a foldable screen of at least 1080 x 2640 and a coverage screen of at least 720 x 748.
We also fully expect the folding screen to have a 120Hz update speed as the Galaxy Z Flip 6s do, while the tire screen is likely to be 60Hz.
Another upgrade we almost certainly see is the chipset, with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, which is joked to use either a Snapdragon 8 elite or an Exynos 2500.
So far, there is no agreement on – and it may be that some regions get one and some of the other, but although the Snapdragon 8 elite probably surpasses Exynos 2500, one of these would be an improvement of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the current model.
However, RAM and Storage cannot be improved, with one leak on the front pointing to the Samsung Galaxy Z -Flip 7 with 12 GB of RAM and a choice of 256 GB or 512 GB of storage, as well as Z -Flip 6.
One of the more disappointing things we hear is that there are no upgrades to Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7’s cameras at all, with leaks pointing to the same 50MP head, 12MP ultra-covering and 10MP front-facing cameras like last year.
Finally, there is the battery and several sources point out that this is 4,300mAh, which would be a noticeable upgrade of 4,000 mAh by its predecessor. That’s good news as 4,000mAh really isn’t much for a phone of this size.
What we don’t know is how fast it can charge, but the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 supports the 25W cable charging and 15W wireless, so expect at least as much.
