Like my colleagues, I’m a big fan of art TVs like Samsung’s long-standing framework TV series, most recently Frame TV Pro. And now there is a new creative collaboration between Samsung and Danish sound experts canvas called the HiFi frame. It combines a Samsung TV and a canvas sound system in a single, rather beautiful art -inspired frame.
According to Canvas, this is more than just a really good TV. CEO Laust Nielsen says that “it’s a new way of thinking about home entertainment. The hifi frame is an invitation to a universe of design, simplicity and cultural relevance.”
As for Samsung, says their PM and PR Knut Eirik Rornes, “The HIFI frame is a combination of the industry’s best sound and best image in a single design that complements our most exclusive TV series.” In other words, it’s really a real really Lovely TV.
Samsung HiFi Frame TV: Key features
The HiFi frame is a more luxurious affair than the standard The Frame TV. It is done in square textiles that look good and do not block the sound, and if you wish, you can specify handmade wooden lambs in light oak, walnut or mahogany, everything responsibly provided.
Canva’s role here is to make immersive sound, and so does it by integrating its award -winning sound beam. It has a double 6.5-inch woofers and two five inches with eight inches of SB Acoustics passive radiators, and canvas says that together they move air “with the authority of a 12” subwoofer “without the need for an actual sub.
The structure is stiffened with the canvasing of the canvas, which suppresses resonance, and the speakers are powered by four independent amps and a burr-brown DAC and precision DSP. The speakers come with space correction and a smart cancellation system that delivers a “natural three-dimensional image-wide, high, deeply-not simulated, but real.”
The TV settings include Samsungs from 55 inches to 85 inches, including the frame, Frame Pro with its NEO QLED screen and the amazing 8K QN900D. Each of them sits inside the HiFi frame to create a single unified piece, and the HiFi frame can be wall mounted or sitting on the floor.
The HIFI frame is officially launched at IFA in Berlin and will be sold in “Selected Stores” from October 2025. Prices start at € 5,000 (about $ 5,869 / £ 4,340 / AU $ 8,940), which increases to double that price if you maximize the TV size, model and finish options.
This means it is far beyond my budget, but I love the thoughts here: Samsung’s framework evolves from showing works of art to being part of one.
