- Samsung says the foldable tri-fold will be out in 2025
- Tab S11 -Tablets also come – probably in September
- We already have a number of new devices to test out
We saw lots of new product messages at Samsung Galaxy unpacked the 2025 event yesterday, but we didn’t get all the news we expected – and Samsung has gone on the record to clarify that more launches are on the way.
First up, as reported by Korea Times (via Android Authority), Samsung Mobile Chief TM Roh has said that the long-awaited Galaxy Tri-Fold phone should come by the end of 2025, so adjust your savings plans accordingly.
“We are working hard on a tri-fold smartphone with the goal of launching it at the end of this year,” Roh said journalists. “We are now focusing on perfecting the product and its utility, but we have not decided its name.”
A name in the race is apparently Samsung Galaxy G Fold, but see this space. The unit apparently comes with two hinges and three sections for its main display and was also joking to cost a great deal (as you would expect).
Tablets also come
Next, there is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 tablet series that follows from the models we saw last year, including Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Plus. There is also an update here, again with the permission of Android Authority.
According to a Samsung director, the Galaxy Tab S11 units “will” get through map “in line with the” traditional cadence ” -which probably means a September launch this year matching the plan for 2024.
Leakies around Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 tablets have been pretty thin on the ground so far, but we expect both a standard model and an ultra -edition to match Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra -as Samsung takes on the best iPads again.
In the meantime, we have got the practical impression of all the devices Samsung announced yesterday: Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic.
