- Samsung’s 5K resolution improves outdoor advertising live visuals
- Includes a 5000 mAh rechargeable battery
- Running on Samsung’s Tizen system with 8 GB of internal storage
E-ink or epaper screens have won space in the last few years as cost-effectiveness has arrived in producing them. Although they are originally available in black and white, color paper screens appear more and more, both in both consumer products and outdoor business advertising installations.
Now Samsung has introduced the world’s largest (75-inch) EPAPER SCREEN IN ISE 2025, showing a display of 16: 9 aspects support 5K resolution (5.120 x 2,880 pixels), which means it will have high visibility applications that suits these ads as well as public information boards.
For remote control, Samsung also introduced a dedicated mobile app that allows users to control the display, plan content and manage sleep/wake up cycles from their smartphones, while Samsung’s VXT (Visual Experience Transformation) optimizes content visibility and accuracy.
Energy efficiency and image transition benefit
In addition, this new 75-inch EPAPER DISPLAY supports connection options such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. This display integrates a built-in rechargeable 5000mAh battery that can be charged via two USB-C ports, which also supports data transfer to the display’s 8 GB storage space.
Like the previous world’s largest 32-inch Philips Tableaux 5150i Epaper Color Display, Samsung Color Epaper is not intended to display videos, which means it is ideal for replacing traditional paper-based communication such as posters, menus and video-based in store advertising.
Samsung Color Epaper utilizes advanced digital ink technology to supply ultra-low power consumption and operate on an astonishing 0.00W that consumes energy only during image transitions. Plus, in line with Samsung’s obligation to sustainability, the 75-inch epaper display is designed using over 50% recycled plastic and its packaging is completely made of paper.
“For commercial screens, it is important to meet the market’s demand for energy efficiency and simple unit management while fulfilling the public’s desire for immersive experiences,” said Hoon Chung, CEO Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics.
“Our latest innovations, including the almost zero-power Samsung Color e-paper and advanced AI capabilities brought by all models, show our commitment to pioneering new markets and deliver transformative business solutions around the world.”
