- Samsung’s next budget earplugs are leaked again
- Regulating filing shows much larger batteries than Galaxy Buds FE
- Expect pricing around $ 99 / £ 99 / AU $ 149
Earlier this month, we reported that the incoming new pair of Samsung affordable earplugs-in fact called Samsung Galaxy Buds Core and the probable successor of the Galaxy Bud FE-Kunne deliver a much-needed battery boost, with significantly improved battery capacity in both buds and also in the case. This information came through leaked regulatory archives and now another leak is adding more confirmation.
This time the leaks are from Samsung. As Sammobile reports, support pages for the impending earplugs are now live on Samsung’s portals, including those in Russia, Turkey and UAE.
And in a pure coincidence, it seems that the Samsung Galaxy Bud FE is out of stock in most of these markets.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Core: What we know so far
It seems that the battery capacity is up from 60mAh per day. Button to 100mah and from 479mAh to 500mAh for the case. Factor in the expected improvements to the chipset from newer hardware, and this could mean a significant boost for the bud playback time. The current knobs FE delivers about six hours with ANC to and nine with it off.
The new model number is the SM-R410 (Galaxy Bud FE was SM-400) and there is speculation that we will see a new design, possibly closer visually at Samsung Galaxy Buds 3; It would give way to the larger batteries.
Samsung has not announced these buds yet, so we do not know pricing or availability, but clearly if support pages go up, a product launch may not be too far away.
We would expect the new buds to be priced in the same way as Galaxy Bud FE, subject to customs -related hiking: those launched at $ 99 / £ 99 / AU $ 149 in 2023.
