Pakistani actor Sana Javed has warned the public about a fake meta-verified Facebook page that mimics her and ask supporters to be careful.
The Khaani Actress who is the wife of the former Pakistan Cricket -team captain Shoaib Malik, took to Instagram and shared two screens -one is her official Facebook page while the other is fake.
The fake side called “Sana Javed” uses her name and photo and has a blue verification emblem. Surprisingly, it has gathered more supporters than her official with over 1.7 million followers – about 500,000 more than her official page, which has over 1.2 million followers.
The actress sent a screenshot of the fake Facebook profile using her name, photo and a blue verification emblem.
“Alarm, this is a false side and I am unsure how it was verified,” Mehrunisa V Lub U Actor wrote in his Instagram story.
“Please refrain from sharing any statements or content from this account. I have already reported it and escalated the case to the authorities in question. They will soon take appropriate steps towards this fake side.”
Sana made it clear that she did not control or support something that was sent on the fake side and asked her followers to stay aware.
