Sana Mir named in the comment panel for Women’s World Cup 2025

Former Pakistan captain Sana Mir is ready to participate in the World Cup winners Mel Jones, Isa Guha, Stacy-Ann King and Julia Price as part of the star-studded comment panel announced by the international cricket Council (ICC) to Women’s World World Cup 2025.

Comment Line-up for the upcoming tournament also includes Mithali Raj and Anjum Chopra, which brings plenty of experience and insight to the tournament.

The on -call list also includes prominent voices such as Katey Martin, Natasha Farrant and Kass Naidoo, while the addition of additional global star power is former World Cup winners Aaron Finch, Carlos Brathwaite and Dinesh Karthik along with acclaimed commentators Nasser Hussain, Ian Bishop, Mpumelo Mbangwa and Russell Arnold.

Each match in the tournament, which begins September 30 across five venues in India and Sri Lanka, will be produced to life broadcast on ICC.TV, ensuring that fans around the world enjoy extensive coverage.

The broadcast contains a 30-minute pre-game show, detailed analysis during laps breaks, and post-match-wrap-ups, providing an immersive viewing experience.

Advanced technology will also improve the broadcast. Hawk-Eye’s Smart Replay system will operate the decision review system (DRS) and provide tactical insights via Piero Graphics.

It is worth mentioning here that Sana Mir did history in June as the first female cricketer from Pakistan to be introduced in the ICC Hall of Fame.
