Lahore:
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Punjab President Rana Sanaullah Khan on Wednesday said the party was fully prepared to contest the upcoming local government elections in the province, and the legislative basis for the process is already in motion.
In a speech with the media in Lahore, he said the local government elections would be held immediately after the Punjab assembly ends the legislation and subsequent demarcation of constituencies.
“As soon as the boundaries are completed, elections will be made in the province,” he said.
