“It’s a great story, right?” Said the Philadelphia Eagles star who runs back Saquon Barkley when he was asked to summarize the last 10 months to the Super Bowl Lix, where he and his team came out victorious.
Barkley was sitting inside a breeding of Rane in Trevose, Pennsylvania, talking to the media and reflecting what just happened on Sunday: Eagles beating Kansas City Chiefs to stop the NFL story and hoist the franchise’s second Lombardi trophy as masters In the 2024 season.
Barkley was this year’s AP Offensive Player and entered the 2,000-Yard Rushing Club to lead the NFL in this category while he was a catalyst for a stacked Eagles flock who got redemption from their Super Bowl LVII loss.

If you asked Barkley if he should raise the trophy in Philadelphia, even just last year, he would probably say no. But after New York Giants allowed him to enter free agency, Eagles came and called, and they made an appointment.
The rest is literally story.
“You can’t make it up,” Barkley, who joined Cane’s founder Todd Graves and hundreds of Eagles fans to celebrate the Super Bowl Lix victory, to journalists. “But for me I look at it more of the people who were with me under it. My family, my friends, the love and support they have had for me. Then don’t lose faith.

“If you would have told me when I was 19 or 20 years old it would take me seven years to have the type of year I did and win the Super Bowl I probably wouldn’t have thought that was the case .
At the height of the celebration, Barkley was asked in Eagles’ changing room at Caesar’s Superdome, what was next for the team he just came with and has two more seasons with (at least contractually).
“I said after the game,” why can’t our dynasty start now? “” Barkley said. “Probably had a little bit of champagne and other things in my system at the time. But you really can’t focus on it. You had to enjoy the moment. It’s hard to win one and you take it in, enjoy the moment and Start everywhere.
Now that doesn’t mean Barkley’s words about a potential philly dynasty wasn’t true.

He believes this team has makeup to do what Chiefs tried against them – win three just the Super Bowls for the first time in the league story.
Eagles -star recipient AJ Brown expressed his feelings on social media that “HUNT” to take down teams and wins is what drives him, and as a result he is still not hung up winning “Big Game.” His counterparty Devonta Smith said something to the same effect.
“That’s the beauty of the team we have, many guys have similar mindset,” Barkley said. “I saw AJ Sending Something About It I Sowing See Sending Something About It. I was with [quarterback] Jalen [Hurts] During the week and had conversations with him. It sucks a little, because when you are a child, you are super excited to achieve this thing. So Barkley will enjoy Friday’s Super Bowl parade in Philadelphia, which starts at 1 p.m. 11 on the team’s complex. As he said, he will cherish the moment with his loved ones and teammates and softening in the love of fans, which he felt a little taste on Thursday.

“That’s the dream. Why not have a better year than I had? Why not win another Super Bowl?” Said Barkley.
