Sarah Jessica Parker teased that Carrie Bradshaw’s story may not be over yet!
During a Q&A session hosted of threads in Hamptons on August 11, the 60-year-old actress shared his thoughts about Carrie Bradshaw’s future as And like that … ends after three seasons.
Parks that played Sex and the city Character for almost 30 years, said she just says “goodbye”, not “goodbye.”
“There’s a distinction, right?” She told session host Evan Ross Katz.
While she admitted that it is “incredibly difficult to be definitive” about whether this is the end of Carrie forever, Parker explained why she and Showrunner Michael Patrick King chose to pack the series.
“Why would you stop doing something … It’s successful in this moment?” Said park rhetorically. “It’s because of the deep love of the job and for the show … It is the respect and the love we feel for the experience in whole that leads you to a decision like this.”
Parker called it “such an extraordinary job.”
“Sometimes it looks like an Anathema says, ‘We won’t do anymore.’ But if you love something you know where to leave it sometimes, ”she noted
However, Parker suggested that she did not close the door to play Carrie again. She never remembered to have expected the film or resuscitation series, but when King called about the latter, “it was so clear to both of us that it felt right.”
“So who knows?” Parker teased.
