When Iran and Israel agreed to a ceasefire after almost two weeks of hostilities, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Pakistan recognized the constructive role of promoting a peaceful decision on the conflict.
According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s office on Tuesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation with the Saudi Crown Prince, where the two leaders exchanged views on the rapidly evolving situation in the Middle East.
Premier Sharif expressed the full support of Pakistan for immediate shell and a peaceful dissolution of Iran -Israel crisis through dialogue and diplomacy.
With reference to recent attacks, he emphasized the importance of compliance with international law and the principles of the UN Charter of all parties. He also confirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Saudi -Arabia.

The Prime Minister conveyed deep appreciation to the Crown Prince for his “Sagakious leadership and commendable efforts” to restore regional peace, and noted that these endeavors reflected the role of the kingdom as a peace champion internationally and its leadership within the Muslim Ummah.
He also repeated Pakistan’s gratitude for Saudi support during the recent tensions with India and confirmed Islamabad’s readiness for meaningful dialogue with New Delhi on all outstanding issues – including Jammu and Kashmir, Water, Trade and Terrorism.
The Crown Prince, on his side, thanked Mr. Sharif for the call and praised Pakistan’s solidarity. He recognized Islamabad’s constructive role in promoting a diplomatic solution to Iran -Israel conflict and confirming Saudi Arabia’s obligation to lasting peace and stability in the Middle East.
Meanwhile, the Foreign Office said in a statement that it welcomed the efforts to revive dialogue and diplomacy and claim that regional peace can only be achieved through strict compliance with the UN Charter and refrain from the use of force. It promised continued support for all such peace initiatives.
Liquid’s ceasefire was mediated by US President Donald Trump on Monday after his conversations with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, while Vice President JD Vance and other senior US officials engaged in parallel discussions with Iranian representatives.

On Tuesday, however, President Trump accused both Israel and Iran of violating the ceasefire only a few hours later, specifically warned Israel after renewed military action near Tehran.
He posted on his truth’s social platform shortly before traveling to the NATO summit in The Hague, he wrote, “Israel. Don’t drop these bombs. If you do, it’s a big violation. Bring your pilots home, now!” Later, he told journalists that he was “not happy” with each page for violating the deal, especially Israel.
