SBI Holdings has requested a double-cared Crypto ETF that offers direct exposure to both Bitcoin (BTC) and XRP (XRP), in a rare case where XRP is formally bundled with BTC in an institutional quality product.
Revealed in the company’s earnings report in the 2nd quarter of 2025, ‘Crypto-Assets ETF’ is structured to track the performance of both assets simultaneously, giving a single entry point for investors seeking crypto exposure.
Another product, the digital gold crypto ETF, adds additional depth by awarding over 50% of its capital to gold-ETFs while combining the rest across gold-supported cryptocurrencies.
This hybrid construction is aimed at risk -free investors who want to mix crypto upward with raw material stability.
No formal approval has yet been granted, but if they are cleared, these would become Japan’s first ETFs to include the XRP-a top-three token, still absent from major institutional products in the United States due to legislative overhangs in the past.
