Islamabad:
The Supreme Court in Pakistan has established an overseas litigation Facilitation Cell (OLFC) in a significant step aimed at helping Pakistanis who live abroad to pursue their legal affairs before the country’s supreme court.
According to an official statement, overseas Pakistanis will now be able to turn to the facilitation cell through a dedicated WhatsApp number (+92-326-444444) and the court’s online complaint portal.
The court clarified that only cases that fell during the Supreme Court’s jurisdiction will be registered in the facilitation cell. Each person residing abroad will be considered an overseas litigation during this initiative.
