Pakistan’s Supreme Court will publish its judgment on disdain for the trial against the extra justice secretary tomorrow.
The decision, reserved for a two-man bench consisting of Judge Mansoor Ali Shah and Judge Aqeel Abbasi, relates to alleged violations involving planning cases of legal powers.
Previously Thursday, the Supreme Court ended hearings in the Bench Powers case, with Judge Mansoor Ali Shah noticing that a two-member judicial committee had immediately overlooked a court order.
While the court acknowledged that it could issue contempt, it refrained from doing so.
The case of contempt came from an appeal within the court, where the extra justice secretary claimed that the dates of hearings were changed in official orders.
Originally scheduled for January 27, the hearing date was allegedly moved to January 16, when a judge refused from the bench.
The extra justice secretary claimed in his appeal that he was made a scapegoat, quoting procedural violations, such as the lack of an opportunity to explain his position prior to the posting of the case of case.
He called for the message to be declared invalid and claimed that the principles of natural justice were not maintained.
