Islamabad:
The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) has suspended one of its key office bearers—Secretary Salman Mansoor—who had filed a petition against the 26th constitutional amendment without the approval of the body.
According to sources, the suspension was approved during SCBA’s executive committee meeting. They said Mansoor was abusing his position in violation of association rules, adding that he had been warned earlier.
Salman Mansoor had filed a constitutional petition against the 26th constitutional amendment in his capacity as secretary without getting the necessary approval.
